Hope Solo Rips the Ponytail Posse
U.S. women’s goalie Hope Solo, who’s never shied from controversy, ripped Julie Foudy on Twitter after Foudy named Briana Scurry her choice for starting goalie on the honorary US Soccer’s All-Time Best XI team, which will be announced later this month.

McCutchen Scores a Bride
Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen proposed to his girlfriend Maria Hanslovan during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She rejected him and instead proclaimed her love for Alex Rodriguez, who then appeared out of nowhere and nailed McCutchen with a steel chair on the back of the head. Just kidding. She said yes. I’ve been watching too much wrestling.
